Enhancing safety and security at our logistics sites
Last Wednesday, we held our third meeting on integrated and public security, this time at the offices of Uniqlo/Arvato, where our tenant joined the discussions for the first time.
About a year ago, we were contacted by the Havenpolitie Rotterdam, who had come across our plans for the barge terminal. Their extensive expertise in the operations around ports and container terminals, combined with their focus on preventive policies against organized crime, made their involvement invaluable. Over time, the municipality of Hoeksche Waard also became part of the discussions, and as our tenants started their operations, they too were brought on board.
This past Wednesday, we gathered with approximately 15 participants for an open exchange on activities and potential risks. While previous meetings mainly involved general discussions, the next session will feature a structured presentation prepared by Park Management, in collaboration with relevant authorities and external advisors. This presentation will serve as a guideline for companies to:
✅ Identify potential risks on public roads and industrial sites
✅ Inform employees about security measures
✅ Understand where and how to report concerns
✅ Learn about possible consequences of security breaches
