We are thrilled to announce the successful signing of a lease agreement with the renowned VDL Enabling Technologies Group(ETG) Almelo. Under this strategic collaboration, VDL will be leasing 3 warehouse units of in total 43,100 sq.m. at our T-Port North Campus, located within the dynamic XL Businesspark in the municipality of Almelo, the Netherlands.

In addition to logistics and warehousing, VDL ETG Almelo – one of the 100 operating companies of VDL Groep – will carry out activities such as welding techniques, sheet metal fabrication and laser cutting in their new facilities. This way, our new tenant is committed to support the local economy and maintain employment for technically skilled workers in Almelo. With the new partnership, VDL ETG will bring its expertise and experience to our T-Port North Campus, where a vibrant community of (inter)national companies and professionals are dedicated to push the boundaries of industry standards.

In addition to Heylen Warehouses’ high standard technical specifications, the warehouse was equipped with extra high-quality insulation to create a pleasant working environment for employees and also reduce VDL’s energy costs.
The new facility is located on the XL Businesspark in Almelo, a unique AAA location on the A35 highway with multimodal transport flows.
