Herentals, 12 March 2026 – Heylen Warehouses proudly announces that DHL Supply Chain has signed a new lease agreement for two additional logistics units on our Agora Logistic Campus 21 in Oud Gastel, the Netherlands. The two units together provide approximately 23,000 sq.m of additional logistics space. With this expansion, DHL now leases a total of six units on the campus – totaling approximately 80,000 sq.m – further strengthening its position in the region.
DHL has been active on Agora Logistic Campus 21 since 2017 and has steadily expanded its operations since then. The company is responding to the growing demand for logistics capacity and efficient supply chain solutions in the Benelux region. With a focus on innovation, digitalization and sustainability, DHL supports both national and international customers in optimizing their logistics processes and ensuring fast, reliable deliveries. This expansion on the Agora campus is a clear sign of DHL’s ambition to continue its growth strategy and further strengthen its presence at strategic logistics hubs.
“By leasing these two additional units, we are significantly increasing our capacity in Oud Gastel. This allows us to support the growth of existing customers as well as onboard a new international client, with activities ranging from inbound goods through the ports to storage and European distribution,” says Jan Deltour, Business Unit Director DHL Supply Chain Benelux. “The strategic location and scalability of the campus make this an ideal base to further strengthen our operations and continue providing our customers with the reliability and flexibility they expect from us.”
“The fact that DHL has once again chosen to expand on our campus not only confirms the quality and strategic value of this location but also shows the long-standing trust-based relationship we have built with them,” says David Batens, Asset Manager at Heylen Warehouses. “We are proud to facilitate DHL’s growth ambitions and look forward to further developing our collaboration in the long term.”
One of the logistics halls will be occupied by the fulfillment company Monta, a subsidiary of DHL. Leonard Aerts, CEO of Monta, says: “Our customers operate in the e-commerce sector, which continues to experience consistent growth. To ensure this sustained growth capacity, Monta is growing even faster! With an additional XL hall close to a large part of Monta’s other warehouses, we are not only creating more storage space but also scalability, speed and flexibility. This enables us to handle peaks effortlessly, further reduce delivery times, and make our fulfillment services future-proof. Monta looks forward to taking this unit into operation and is already actively seeking the next expansion.”
