AGP eGlass, the most innovative and future-oriented business unit from AGP Group and pioneer in creating high-tech glazing solutions for more than 20 automotive brands worldwide, has signed for a 70,000 sqm of logistics space on Ghent Logistic Campus, a large-scale logistics campus developed by Heylen Warehouses.
AGP was in search of a large space for logistics, storage, as well as light production activities for the acceleration of their EMEA strategy. Looking to anticipate and respond to the latest trends of the industry – like electrification, connectivity, shared mobility, automation, digitalization, and well-being – eGlass offers high-tech glazing solutions for the vehicles of today and tomorrow. It’s innovative value proposition offers smart glass applications for lightweight and impact resistant compositions, as well complex shapes of glass with technologies that are opening a new world of opportunities like switchable glazing, ambient lighting or photovoltaic.
Ghent Logistic Campus totals 150,000 sqm and is nearing its final development phase. The logistics campus has already attracted top quality tenants such as Eltra, Northfreeze and Connect +. The site is strategically located at the heart of the North Sea Port area (Port of Ghent) and provides smooth access to the Netherlands, Germany, and France as well as multimodal hubs. The campus is developed to the highest standards in line with latest ESG market practices and is planned to be fully delivered by fall 2022.
