Heylen Warehouses is planning the construction of a large logistics complex for warehousing on the ‘Zwijnaarde Island’ near Ghent. This project is our response to a call from Waterwegen en Zeekanaal NV for projects at this unique site located at the well-known Zwijnaarde cloverleaf.
The so-called ‘Ghent Gateway Logistics’ is a highly strategic site located at the well-known Zwijnaarde cloverleaf (the intersection of the E40 and E17), with direct access to the city of Ghent. This is a highly valuable site for logistic projects due to its excellent access options.
Besides direct access to the motorways, there is a direct connection to the R4 and the Ghent ring road, with further links along the quay wall to the River Scheldt with access by water. The industrial site with a gross surface area of 20 hectares is fully enclosed by water.
