Herentals, October 28, 2025 – Heylen Warehouses is proud to welcome Xwift, a leading Belgian transport company, as its newest tenant at Ghent Logistic Campus 21 in Evergem. Xwift has signed a lease agreement for two warehouses totaling approx. 22,000 sq.m, marking the company’s largest site to date.
The move represents a significant milestone for Xwift, which will relocate its activities from Temse to Evergem. Founded in 2007 by Pieter Denys, Xwift began with just five employees and has since grown into a major industry player with over 1,000 employees and an annual turnover of €135 million. After years of steady organic growth, the company accelerated its expansion from 2021 onward through a successful buy-and-build strategy, combining strategic acquisitions with organic development. Today, Xwift offers a comprehensive range of logistics services across Belgium and Europe, focusing on speed, reliability, and tailor-made solutions.
Within Ghent Logistic Campus 21, Xwift will become neighbours with BMS, another valued tenant on the site. BMS – a Belgian logistics service provider – is expanding its operations within the campus by an additional 11,000 m² to support its increased automation.
